This brownstone apartment with roof rights was renovated in four phases: First the bathrooms. Next, the kitchen was connected to the dining area, adding a large, circular skylight, to bring natural light into the apartment. Later, the roof deck was installed, with expansive views of the skyline, incorporating trellises, benches, and large planters. Last, more closet space was added.
